Amsterdam Light Festival is an art festival featuring unique light art that you can experience every year by boat, bicycle, or on foot. The organization’s mission is “to use the universal language of light art in public spaces to connect and enrich people.”

From 26 November 2026 until 17 January 2027, Amsterdam transforms into an open-air gallery as the world-famous Amsterdam Light Festival illuminates the city’s canals with spectacular light art installations by Dutch and international artists.
